Nujum: Board Game

Predict your opponent's play to align the stars in your favor.

Nujum is a relaxed-paced, abstract board game for two players about reading your opponent. Anticipate their move correctly, and you'll guide the Star Token to score your cards — while blocking theirs — using a hand of beautifully illustrated, tarot-sized cards.

In each turn, both players secretly choose a card. The catch: your opponent reveals and moves first. If the Star Token can't complete its full movement, your card is discarded and scores nothing. When the stars don't quite align, Eclipse Cards let you bend fate — swap cards, alter suits, or score without moving the token at all.

Originally funded on Kickstarter, Nujum was selected as a Project We Love and featured in Witchstarter 2023, backed by 573 supporters.

Nujum — the Arabic word for "Stars" — draws inspiration from the Islamic Golden Age, when scholars came together to explore astrology, astronomy, and philosophy.
